  1. The Foundation aims to:
  2. Providing support and education to children in need between the ages of 5 and 21;
  3. Providing information to mothers with children regarding child care and voluntary birth control as well as facilitating methods of voluntary birth control for mothers with children;
  4. Providing support and education in the Netherlands to people who work for the Foundation or will work for the Foundation in the future, in order to achieve the goals mentioned above; D. Carrying out all further actions that are related to the foregoing in the broadest sense or that may be conducive thereto.
  5. The Foundation tries to achieve its goal by, among other things:

o Recruiting volunteers;

o Providing information;

o Raising funds.

  1. The Foundation does not aim to make a profit.

 

16 of the girls who completed their education with a scholarship from the Ligaya Foundation are now working in their first job.

Due to the Corona pandemic, the follow-up has been delayed and there are currently only 4 students with a grant.

Now that normal life is slowly starting again, we have started applications for the new school year that starts in September 2021.

There is a plan to train some of the existing graduates in giving Family Planning Information Evenings at the schools to raise the necessary funds.

The Ligaya Foundation receives 800 euros per month from the private assets of Mrs. K.R. McCusker and Mr. L.J.P.J. Galdermans.

The intended number of 20 scholarships requires approximately 750 per month.

The remuneration policy
There are no employees, no wages are paid. the directors also receive no remuneration.

Of the 20 students, 16 graduated after 4 years of study in different directions. Due to the Corona pandemic, 4 girls are currently studying and will graduate in 2 or 3 years.
